R2C2 moving RepRap at 650mm/s speed, using Grbl

Bobc ported Grbl to R2C2 and even if this is experimental firmware for now, we got a top speed of 650mm/s!

This high speed is important as 3D printing resolution increases. It's also important for laser cutter machines, since they cut at high resolution already.

Here is a video of RepRap 3D printer moving X and Y axis at top speed of 650mm/s (using USB communications to PC):

About Grbl:

Grbl is a free, open source, high performance CNC milling controller written in optimized C that will run on a straight Arduino.

And a "geek" image of Grbl code, that shows tecnhical details Smile
